The Office of Space Optimization is the source of record for the official listing of buildings owned or operated by CU Boulder, and we refer to this as the Master Building List (or MaBL for short). The list will be periodically updated as changes to buildings or the overall list occur.

Master Building List Changes
Our buildings at CU Boulder are constantly changing to adapt to changing needs and growth. Below you will find a link to a Google Sheet change file that show a comprehensive list of all the changes made on a version release, with explanations for some of the major changes. Gross Square Feet (GSF) changes are happening on a constant basis. Some of these are due to renovations and building changes, but some are due to correcting our current drawing files. We strive to accurately follow the coding framework laid out by the Postsecondary Facilities Inventory and Classification Manual (FICM) created by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). If you have questions or want clarification on any of the changes, please contact us and we will find and provide those explanations. We can also add Unviversity staff to email notifcations when an updated Master Building List is issued.
