Come in the afternoon for family-friendly activities at Fiske Planetarium and the Sommers-Bausch Observatory, including building and launching model rockets, drawing your own postcard that will go to space, designing your own exoplanet, looking through telescopes, playing with UV light, and so much more!
In the evening, we'll have a feature talk with special guest presenters from the world of aerospace engineering, free telescope observing, and some of our new planetarium films that feature research being done here on the Front Range.
Hosted by Fiske Planetarium and Sommers-Bausch Observatory. Team members from Blue Origin, Explorando Senderos de Boulder, What-If Hypothetical Implementations in MineCraft project, Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP), and CU Science Discovery will also be joining us with activities.
