Leilani Arthurs is a Faculty Fellow in the Office of Faculty Affairs, focusing on Leadership Education for Advancement and Promotion (LEAP). LEAP is one of four leadership development programs the Office of Faculty Affairs offers to develop a strategic leadership pipeline on campus across the faculty lifespan. In her role, Leilani facilitates the participant application process for LEAP and the two-day skill-based LEAP workshops for pre-tenured faculty offered twice yearly.
Leilani is an Associate Professor in Geological Sciences and has been a faculty member at CU Boulder since 2018. She earned her Ph.D. in Civil Engineering & Geological Sciences, from the University of Notre Dame, a B.A., in Peace & Conflict Studies, from the University of California at Berkeley, and a B.S., in Geology, from the University of Hawai`i at Hilo.
