Faculty Development and Support

Francisca Antman is Faculty Director, focusing on Early-Career Faculty Development in the Office of Faculty Affairs. She oversees several programs designed to build leadership skills in faculty in their first three years through Leadership Education for Advancement and Promotion (LEAP) and who are senior instructors or early associate professors through the Faculty Leadership Institute (FLI). Francisca is also responsible for developing and expanding ACUMent Across CU Mentoring Center, which provides opportunities for peer mentoring, one-on-one mentoring, and coaching to all CU faculty.  

Francisca is Associate Professor in the Department of Economics, faculty affiliate in the Population Program at the CU Population Center, Research Fellow at the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA), and Co-Director of the American Economic Association Mentoring Program. She earned her Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from Stanford University and B.A. in Economics from Harvard University.
