This paper reports on the use of plane-wave vs. focused-wave ultrasound imaging trasmissions to induce primary radiation force on a microbubble ultrasound contrast agents with multi-gate spectral doppler analysis of the recieved echoes to determine their velocity profiles.  It is an important step toward manipulating and controlling microbubbles for applications in medical imaging and therapy, as well as applications in active matter.  This study is part of an ongoing collaboration with the University of Florence in Italy and the Erasmus Medical Center in the Netherlands.
