Build an independent research career in beautiful Colorado while helping to translate ultrasound molecular imaging toward clinical application.

The Borden Lab at the University of Colorado Boulder is currently looking to hire a postdoctoral research associate in the area of ultrasound molecular imaging.  The work will involve synthesis and characterization of targeted microbubble ultrasound contrast agents, use of a modified clinical ultrasound imaging scanner, and preclinical studies to assess tumor response to therapy.  The successful candidate will also be encouraged to pursue other research projects of interest to build an independent research career.  Additional responsibilities include general lab management and graduate student mentoring.  Qualifications include a PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering or similar field.
