The University of Colorado women’s cross country team placed first in the 2018 NCAA Cross Country Championship last month. CU’s men’s team also returned to the podium with a fourth place finish. Six CU athletes placed in the women’s top 40, including EVEN senior Val Constien. Despite windy and cold conditions, Constien recorded her best finish at NCAAs (20:31.3 – 6km). The men, who were ranked eighth heading into the meet, captured a fourth place finish. EVEN Senior Ethan Gonzalez placed in the top 150 out of 252 finishers, 31:02.4 in the individual 10-km.
