Karl LindenEnvironmental Engineering Professor Karl Linden, Mortenson Professor in Sustainable Development, was selected by the World Health Organization (WHO) to serve as a member of the WHO Water Quality and Health Technical Advisory Group, to contribute in the areas of drinking water and wastewater.  In this role he will act as an advisor to the WHO Secretariat on matters of gathering and reviewing the evidence on water quality and health.  The initial term is for 4 years.  His first tasks are to provide his expertise in the revision of the WHO Guidelines for Drinking Water Quality, with a focus on small systems, and review background technical documents and working papers to support the development of WHO Guidelines.
