The 15-credit Creative Technology & Design (CTD) Concentration provides a broad multidisciplinary perspective that integrates practical design skills with a critical, theoretical and historical understanding of technology in media and the arts.

Note: Earning a Creative Technology & Design Minor requires two additional courses (6-credit hours) beyond the e+ Concentration.

Below are the credit hours required for students who choose the Creative Technology & Design Concentration:

Required:

  • The Meaning of Information Technology* (HUEN 2020** or ATLS 2000) 3 credits
  • Image (ATLS 2100) 3 credits
  • Web (ATLS 2200) 3 credits
  • Text (ATLS 2300) 3 credits

Choose One:

  • Form (ATLS 3100) 3 credits
  • Sound (ATLS 3200) 3 credits

  • 15 credits

*While these courses are approved for H&SS credit, they cannot be counted both towards H&SS credit and the e+ CTD concentration.
**This course is only open to first-year students in the Global Engineering Academic Program

Note: Beginning with the incoming class of Fall 2016, all courses in each e+ Concentration require a minimum grade of C.
Note: Students wishing to pursue the CTD Concentration must complete this form to declare the CTD Minor in order to gain access to register for ATLS courses.
