Engineering Projects Lead Course Assistant
The Lead Course Assistant aids in leading, organizing, and communicating with course assistants (CAs) for all GEEN 1400: Engineering Projects sections. This position also helps to set-up and monitor the end of semester Projects Design Expo.
Position Requirements: Applicants must have completed a first year projects course (GEEN 1400, ECEN 1400, ASEN 1400, COEN 1400); must be a current student in CEAS with good academic standing. Previous experience as a course assistant, especially for a GEEN projects course, is preferred.
Position is approximately 3-10 hours per week, with 7-10 hours the weeks before and during Expo. Salary starts at $15/hr.
The Engineering Plus Program seeks exceptional engineering students to serve as Course Assistants (CAs) for various Engineering Plus courses.
CAs work directly with students, answering questions, providing expertise, and directing students towards available resources. CAs may help with grading presentations, reports and other assignments, and they will directly assist students with online resources and in various fabrication facilities in the ITLL (manufacturing center, electronics center, 3D printing, etc.).
Salary starts at $15/hr. Approximately 5-8 hrs/week
The Engineering Plus Program seeks exceptional e+ students to assist with Engineering Education and Design research projects. Research opportunities may vary by semester. Starting July 1, 2021, pay starts at $15/hr

Spring 2021:Intersectional Analysis of Student Experiences and Perceptions in First-Year Engineering Projects Classes
Undergraduate research assistants (URAs) will assist PIs with analysis for First Year Engineering Projects surveys and interviews. URAs will also help with future proposal preparation and disseminating findings.
Summer 2021: Highlighting Diverse Educational and Work Experiences of Engineering Plus
Assistants will help identify e+ alumni and current e+ with interesting experiences; video record these individuals telling their story; edit the videos to create concise and interesting stories; and post these videos online.
Engineering Plus Program Assistant
The Engineering Plus Program Assistant will help with a variety of administrative and programatic responsibilities for the e+ Program. Duties include updating program materials in Microsoft Office Suite, assisting in event planning, and assisting project faculty/staff. Pay starts at $15/hr, commensurate with experience.
