In collaboration with the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Community Engagement, Designers Without Boundaries offers a limited number of participation scholarships each year to incoming students. Awards are granted at $1500 per academic year ($750/semester) for four years. Awards are evaluated at the end of each year and renewed annually based on member participation and academic performance. Designers Without Boundaries is home to Environmental Design students involved in one or more of the following academic scholarship programs in order to engage students and integrate with campus and community partners to build community, provide a social and academic support system, and foster persistence and retention through a wide array of programming activities.

Students accepted into the DWB Scholarship Program are required to sign a Participation Agreement that outlines their commitment to participate in programming activities as well as strive towards academic excellence.
