ENVD Study Abroad Guide

The Program in Environmental Design has, along with the Office of International Education, developed an exciting multitudeĀ of study-abroad options. Study abroad gives students an array of unique experiences, and it can make students more competitive for graduate study and for employment. Summer programs and faculty-led programs are available to students after their first year of study. Full-semester programs are available to students starting in their third year. The study abroad program provides an academically challenging experience with extensive local support.

Environmental Design (architecture, urban design or urban planning) programs are offered in Sydney, London, Florence, Rome, Denmark, and Barcelona. In addition, the Office of International Education offers more than 25 programs that offer courses appropriate to design studies. These courses offer students an opportunity to study the process of design in another culture and to examine their own perceptions and attitudes toward design.

For the Summer of 2017, ENVD will offer global seminars in:

Rome, Italy

Valencia, Spain
