Dylan currently serves as the Assistant Director of Advising Quality & Student Transitions. His role supervises a team that manages recruitment, transfer pathways, first-year experience, diverse scholars, and oversees the advising operations and retention initiatives for ENVD. He serves as the academic advisor to incoming transfer students from other universities and supports the training and development of our academic advising operation. He manages the fall and spring College Day Welcome Events and serves on the advising leadership team.

Dylan earned a Bachelor of Arts from Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, in psychology and exercise science and a minor in religion. He also holds a Master of Science from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee in higher education administration. His thesis is titled “Defining Student Success through Holistic Frameworks.” He is currently a PhD student studying human development & education at the University of Colorado Denver.

Dylan has been recognized as the New Advisor of the Year in 2017 and Advising Administrator of the Year in 2021 from the University of Colorado Boulder. He was also recognized by the National Academic Advising Association for his work in Advising Administration in 2021.
