Congratulations to Matthew Jelacic and Rob Pyatt for receiving a BFA Faculty Recognition AwardS. These awards are given to faculty members who have demonstrated continued support of the CU community through service activities. Matt and Rob were two of three faculty selected to receive this special recognition.  Matt was nominated by Professor Paul Chinowsky who stated that, "Matt continually demonstrates a commitment to students across the CU campus.  His work in the SbD RAP, Environmental Design, and in leading an international study tour are just a few of the roles he has undertaken to work with students.  The growth in interest in international development on the campus from a design perspective is significantly based on Matt's efforts."

Rob was nominated by Associate Vice Chancellor, Bill Kaempfer, who stated that, "Rob runs/manages ENVD's participation in the Native American Sustainable Housing Initiative-Designing for People & Place: Sustainable and Affordable Housing for the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. He is the lead instructor in a project that takes CUstudents to Pine Ridge to develop and build housing, working also with students and faculty from so School of Mines and Technology and Oglala Lakota College. The results are stupendous."
