Jessica grew up in New Jersey, but has since lived in Dallas, New York City, Fort Collins, Oregon, and Creede, Colorado before moving to Boulder. She has a BFA in Theatre Studies from Southern Methodist University, an MFA in Creative Writing from Colorado State, and a Master’s in Education from Oregon State University. Based on her own wavy path, Jessica is passionate about assisting students in finding their own career paths, identifying their academic needs, and establishing their co-curricular homes within the CU community. She encourages students to get involved both in and outside of the classroom to assist them in their career development, engagement, and positive well-being.

In her free time, Jessica loves to read, listen to podcasts, take yoga classes, enjoy the outdoors and a hike whenever possible, and spend time with her husband, Chad, and their two young children, Edith and Nathan.
