PhD Candidate
Andrew Escanuela is a PhD student specializing in cross-genre writing and border studies. Informed by the Sonoran Desert region of Arizona and the greater social landscape of the Southwest, his research interests include semiotics, decolonial theory, hybrid identity, and epistemic disobedience in border literature. He holds an MA in English from New Mexico Highlands University.
