My career path: Currently, I am a Principal Strategy Consultant at Xcel Energy where I collaborate closely with stakeholders across the enterprise to identify business strategy opportunities and drive implementation. Prior to my current position, I held various roles in Engineering, Manufacturing, and Consulting, where my background in Chemical Engineering from CU Boulder helped build a strong foundation for success. One of my earliest roles was in Consulting where I developed marketing strategies for international clients, and my most recent roles are also in Consulting where I have led company-wide initiatives supporting corporate strategic priorities in enhancing customer experience and achieving clean energy transition. In Manufacturing, I managed teams of 30+ frontline employees and applied process improvement methodologies to ensure achievement of operational targets. In Engineering, I gained a wide range of experiences ranging from optimizing energy generation processes to overseeing infrastructure designs. All of my roles have positively influenced my career development, and I look forward to sharing my experience and supporting fellow Buffs!
My interest in becoming a Regional Network Ambassador: I enjoy meeting new people and would like to help build a strong network of CU alumni. Plus, I didn’t exactly know what I wanted to do upon graduation, so I’d be happy to share my journey and provide additional perspective.
