Spacecraft and Ground Segment Controller | Telespazio/EUMETSAT

My career path: Right after graduation in 2017, I moved to India to work at ITGlobe Inc. as a Systems Engineer to get some experience in the Indian Aerospace sector for about an year. In 2018, I moved to Germany to pursue my Masters in Remote Sensing from TU Munich, which I finished in March 2021. With strong interest in the Ground Segment area of work, I landed a job as the Spacecraft and Ground Segment Controller to monitor & control the weather satellites at EUMETSAT. Throughout all these transitions, upgrading along the way and a strong network have played a major role in navigating through different phases.

My interest in becoming a Regional Network Ambassador: CU Boulder is a place full of life - tons of opportunities, amazing people from diverse backgrounds & walks of life and the beautiful beautiful backdrop of the Flatirons! I really enjoyed my time at CU - learned a lot (academics + real-life skills) and made lifelong friends. I feel super grateful being a Buff and love to stay connected and give back to the Buff Community. I want to help the fellow Buffs reconnect and support the growing presence of my alma mater on this part of the Earth!
