Starting out in my career, I would never have imagined how much my global experiences would shape me as a leader, an engineer, and a person. Having worked on projects on 6 continents over the course of 32 years, I truly consider myself a boundaryless citizen of the planet. As a leader, I have come to appreciate the importance of embracing the local culture to get things done. As an engineer, I have found the variety of engineering challenges -- from simple to complex -- to be stimulating. And as a person, interacting with beautiful people whose life experiences are so vastly different than mine has truly enriched my life, and made me very grateful.
