Stephanie graduated from Regis University in Denver, Colo. with a dual degree in communication and Spanish and earned a Masters of Human Resources Management from Colorado State University Global Campus. Her experience in human resources began in the hospitality industry assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and translating employee relations cases. Her passion for higher education became a turning point when she began working with central human resources at the University of Colorado Denver handling position descriptions, research faculty postings, domestic and international employment verifications, and processing adverse background checks. Stephanie transferred to Colorado State University in Fort Collins as the employment coordinator for housing and dining services handling state classified recruitment plans. In fall 2016, she enthusiastically joined the dean’s office as the new human resources generalist for the college and is currently working towards earningan SPHR and Prosci certification with the desire to pursue change management and organizational leadership consultation. She serves as treasurer on the CUPA-Rocky Mountain Board and the CSU-Global SHRM chapter leadership. In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys volunteering as an assistant captain for the Great America Beer Festival (GABF), playing competitive kickball, cooking and training her Greater Swiss Mountain Dog.
