Rebecca Dizon

Hi, My name is Rebecca Dizon (she/her/hers), and I am an Undergraduate Academic Advisor for Mechanical Engineering. I am originally from Southern California, but moved out to Colorado for grad school, where I earned my M.S. in Student Affairs in Higher Education at Colorado State University (CSU) with a concentration in Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access. My undergraduate degree is in Cognitive Science from the University of California, Berkeley. I have worked in higher education for the past four years, most recently as an Assistant Resident Manager in family housing at CSU. I believe in the importance of cultivating campus environments which provide holistic and equitable support to students and am excited to support students as an academic advisor during their college journeys. Outside of work, I enjoy sewing, crafting, playing piano, watching TV, and spending time with family and friends.
