Otha Barrow is the Academic Advisor for the e+ program. Otha is originally from Chicago, IL, but later moved to West Helena, AR. He pursued his bachelor's degree in business administrations and finance from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, AR. After college, Otha worked for three years at the Interlochen Arts Academy as a Residence Hall Counselor. After Interlochen, Otha decided to pursue a master's degree in German. Otha found the German program at the University of Colorado Boulder to be a perfect match for him. Since graduating from CU Boulder with his master's degree, Otha worked for the university as an undergraduate academic advisor for first-year and open-option students in the College of Arts and Sciences and the Chemistry Graduate Program Manager for the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry. Otha has loved working with students in STEM fields and has found the flexibility and diversity of the Engineering Plus program to be a great opportunity.

In his spare time, Otha enjoys playing classical piano, reading and learning different languages. He also enjoy baking breads and has gotten fairly good at it! Otha also wants it known that he feels there is always a time and place for chocolate: Never and in the trash :)
