General FAQa

Are all the Engineering Management courses offered online and on campus?

Our courses can be completed on campus or through distance learning online. Our online environment uses a distance format that allows you to log in to the classes live via web conferencing or watch the recorded lectures at your convenience. There are additional engagement activities with fellow students in the form of an online discussion board (threaded blog) and other communication tools.

Can I attend class on campus even though I'm enrolled in the distance section?

You are welcome to attend the class lectures on main campus if desired, as long as space is available. Contact the instructor to ask if there are seats available in the classroom. This step is required in order to be in compliance with fire codes.

If I start as a non-degree seeking student and am admitted to the program, will my credits transfer?

The Graduate School allows students to take up to three courses (9 credits) before formally applying to a program. You should apply before taking your third class to avoid complications with credit transfer. You must earn a B or better in the course in order for the credits to transfer into the degree.
