If your GPA is below 3.0, then GRE scores must be provided for provisional admission. Alternatively, you can consider the option of starting as a non-degree seeking student.
You are required to have the following to apply to the Engineering Management Program:
We require a minimum score of 102 on the TOEFL. For the IELTS, we require a score of at least a 7.5.
We must have copies of transcripts from all schools attended, regardless of whether a degree was received.
GRE scores are required only if your undergraduate GPA is below a 3.0. Applicants who submit GRE scores are required to score in the median to high range. Statistics relating to test scores are located at www.gre.org. Since the review committee evaluates the application as a whole, there is not a definite minimum score.
An official transcript is sent directly to us from the school. Alternatively, we can accept official transcripts sent directly to you from the school as long as the package remains unopened until delivery to us.
The majority of students have over two years of work experience in a variety of industries including high tech, energy, metals, construction, manufacturing, the armed forces, and, of course, engineering. However, no professional work experience is required to apply.
You are required to have the following to apply for the Engineering Management Graduate Certificate Program:
Diplomas will list Master of Engineering. Transcripts will list Master of Engineering in Engineering Management.
We offer dual degrees with Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical, Computer, and Energy Engineering, Interdisciplinary Telecommunication, and Mechanical Engineering.
Our courses can be completed on campus or through distance learning online. Our online environment uses a distance format that allows you to log in to the classes live via web conferencing or watch the recorded lectures at your convenience. There are additional engagement activities with fellow students in the form of an online discussion board (threaded blog) and other communication tools.
You are welcome to attend the class lectures on main campus if desired, as long as space is available. Contact the instructor to ask if there are seats available in the classroom. This step is required in order to be in compliance with fire codes.
The Graduate School allows students to take up to three courses (9 credits) before formally applying to a program. You should apply before taking your third class to avoid complications with credit transfer. You must earn a B or better in the course in order for the credits to transfer into the degree.
