PhD Student
Research & Evaluation Methodology

Michelle is a doctoral candidate (anticipated completion in May 2024) in Research and Evaluation Methodology in the School of Education at the University of Colorado Boulder. Her research interests in teacher leadership, teacher labor markets, and teacher activism spring from her experiences as a high school science teacher in a Title I school in West Phoenix. She uses quantitative and mixed methods to analyze the experiences of teachers, their leaders, and their students in order to address the persistent inequities in our school system.
