Madeleine is pursuing a M.A.(+ Licensure) in Teaching with a focus on Secondary Humanities. She is excited to teach Language Arts at a high school in Colorado after completing the program. Madeleine has earned a B.A. in English Literature from CU Boulder and a M.A. in English Literature from the University of Vermont. During her previous M.A. program, Madeleine was a first year writing instructor and fell in love with teaching. She enjoys helping students explore aspects of their identities through writing and hopes to encourage her students to become avid readers like herself. Madeleine was a board member of the English Graduate Student Association at the University of Vermont and served as a campus tour guide during her undergraduate career at CU Boulder. In her free time, you can either find Madeleine curled up on the couch with her two cats and a good book or outside with friends and family.
