Danielle Shaw Attaway is a PhD candidate in the research & evaluation methodology program. Her research uses quantitative approaches to understand how contextual factors influence early learning and development. Danielle works as a graduate research assistant on early childhood education evaluation projects with Dr. Mimi Engel and Dr. Allison Atteberry. Danielle obtained a BA in sociology, a BA in public policy, and a New York State initial teaching certificate in elementary and special education from Hobart and William Smith Colleges. She holds an MA in human development and learning sciences from the University of Colorado Boulder.
