I am in my final year of the Learning Sciences and Human Development Master’s program. I plan to pursue a career in data analysis and advocacy around implementing effective universal early childhood education and Kindergarten policy initiatives. I received a BFA in Acting from the Chicago College for the Performing Arts, and my first formal teaching position was as a juggling instructor for a children’s day camp. I have worked full time as an ECE teacher for the last eight years, and I hold a Montessori Early Childhood Teaching certificate. Currently, I am a K-12 substitute teacher in the Boulder Valley and St. Vrain school districts, and am a CU Teacher’s Assistant for the fall 2022 semester in Data Science as a Field, Ethical Issues in Data Science, and Cybersecurity for Data Science. I am a mentor in the Graduate Peer Mentoring program, and I represent the School of Education as a senator in the Graduate and Professional Student Government. I enjoy games of all kinds, theater, visual art, and spending time outside with my friends and my dog.
