CU Boulder quality education + online flexibility

The BA in Interdisciplinary Studies is a student-centered, fully online degree-completion program ideal for those who have already earned some college credits or an associate’s degree. The online course delivery allows you to finish your bachelor’s degree while also balancing your professional and personal responsibilities.

The program is best suited for:

  • Students who started their degree at CU Boulder, but didn’t complete it,
  • Transfer students with 30-60 credits already completed, and
  • Community college graduates.

Lead the change in education and beyond

Offered by the School of Education and administered by Continuing Education, the BA in Interdisciplinary Studies focuses on building foundational knowledge in education and working with youth while allowing you to tailor coursework to your specific academic interests and career goals. Choose from areas of emphasis such as cultural diversity, global studies, social justice studies, and more. The degree is ideal for those who value the human development and learning aspects underlying a wide range of careers in education, business, non-profits or social services, and the online flexibility readily accommodates students who are already working in these and a wide range of other fields.

A degree tailored to your needs, wherever you are

The BA in Interdisciplinary Studies is designed to allow you to enjoy a CU Boulder education from wherever you are. You can access all of the necessary courses and support services at a distance. An academic advisor will work with you to determine how your prior college credits will transfer toward degree requirements and help you design a meaningful course schedule.
