“Without programs like Ralphie’s Green Stampede, Eco-Products could not live out its mission of Zero Waste.” - Sarah Martinez, Director of Marketing, Eco Products
Eco-Products is a world leader in Zero Waste innovation whose vision for a waste-free world aligns perfectly with the mission of RGS to advance sustainability through sport. Being neighbors has allowed Eco-Products and CU to form a relationship that benefits both party’s bottom lines and works toward the Zero Waste future. Director of Marketing Sarah Martinez says that “without programs like Ralphie’s Green Stampede, Eco-Products could not live out its mission of Zero Waste.” On the other side of that relationship, RGS could not fulfill its mission of Zero Waste in athletics without a partner like Eco-Products to address waste aversion, which is just as important as waste diversion.
Nine years of partnership has brought innovative approaches to zero waste, such as the first ever Zero Waste tailgate in collegiate sports, and a vital packaging partnership that has made Zero Waste a reality for Buffs sports programs. The partnership with RGS has been an enormous success story for Eco-Products and has helped them secure partnerships with notable organizations like the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, the Seattle Mariners, the Minnesota Twins, and more.
Eco-Products has been a reliable and invaluable partner in pursuing Zero Waste athletics. They are optimistic that other schools are beginning to follow in RGS’ footsteps, and they welcome opportunities to apply lessons learned from CU to other partnerships. RGS thanks Eco-Products for their dedication to the mission of RGS and look forward to what the future holds.
