Build career-relevant sustainability knowledge and skills for leading change
The Sustainability Leadership Program equips students with the leadership skills and relevant sustainability knowledge to more effectively lead sustainability initiatives and projects on campus and in their communities and careers.
Sustainability Leadership students get to explore professional practices in sustainability while learning the core elements of sustainability and leadership. Students will learn business and innovation skills for sustainability and build personal effectiveness. Best practices for effective changemaking is a strong focus of the curriculum. Cohorts will build community together and explore ways to take action individually and collectively.
Sustainability Leadership students:
- Get to know a core group of fellow students who share your interests in sustainability and leadership
- Build personal effectiveness and leadership skills
- Gain practice and understanding to increase impact and student voice on campus around sustainability
- Develop valuable career and professional insight
All interested CU undergraduate students from all schools and majors are welcome and encouraged to apply.
Both Sustainability Leadership I and Sustainability Leadership II are offered in both Spring and Fall semesters.
