Recovered food distribution

CU provides several options to access food for students, staff, and faculty. Here are four ways of accessing FREE FOOD on campus!

 

The Environmental Center, in partnership with CU Housing and the Boulder Food Rescue, plans to continue the weekly delivery of FREE rescued food to both Graduate and Family Housing and the UMC Building on Campus! The goal is to put excess food from grocery stores to use and make it accessible to the Graduate and Family Housing community.

 

There is one weekly FREE food distribution in Graduate and Family Housing. 

Details for the TUESDAY food distribution:

  • When: Tuesdays from 11:00am to 12:00pm (or until food runs out.) 

  • Where: Athens North Hall Community Center

  • Located here on the  CAMPUS MAP

There is one weekly FREE food distribution on Campus in the UMC Building

Details for the SATURDAY food distribution:

       -  When: Saturdays from 1PM to 3PM (or until food runs out)

       -  Where: The University Memorial Center (UMC) on campus, on the first floor across from the Starbucks

        - Located here on the Academic Campus Map

There is an on-campus food pantry, called the Buff Pantry 

  • Located in the UMC Building

There is a second food pantry on-campus, called the Mobile Food Pantry
