Ralphie’s High School & Community Group Visits are campus visits for groups of high school students, sports organizations or local community groups of eight or more people. If you are an individual student or family looking to learn more about CU Boulder, please register for one of our in-person information sessions here, or one of our virtual information sessions here.

Ralphie's Visit Requirements

While we always enjoy hosting student groups on campus, we do have a few considerations to be aware of as you make your reservation.

  • Students must be in high school or college.

  • There must be at least one chaperone for every 20 students.

  • Reservations are required and must be made at least three weeks in advance for groups of less than 50 and at least six weeks in advance for groups of 50 or more.

  • Please arrive on time for your scheduled visit. Due to our volunteer students' class schedules, we cannot accommodate groups that arrive late. Groups that arrive after their confirmed visit time are subject to cancellation.

  • Visits are only available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays beginning at 9:30 a.m. Monday and Friday visits are subject to availability and are done on a case-by-case basis.

  • Please review our campus tour policies & guidelines. All guidelines must be followed during your tour. Please note: masks are required, indoors, for all faculty, staff, students, and guests, regardless of vaccination status.

Ralphie's Visit Lunch Options

Your group is welcome to conclude its day on campus with lunch at the Center for Community, CU’s largest dining hall. If your organization is tax exempt and able to pay prior to the information session with a check or cash, the cost is $8.15 per meal card. If your organization is not tax exempt, the cost is $13.62 per meal card and can be paid at the door of the C4C with a credit or debit card. Please note proof of tax exemption instructions during visit registration.

If your group would like to enjoy lunch on campus à la carte, the University Memorial Center has various offerings for various meal preferences.
