Ty joined Disability Services in January 2021 as a Temporary Access Coordinator. He completed his Bachelors of Science in Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies and his Masters of Art in English at Kansas State University. Ty is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Higher Education Administration here at CU Boulder. Prior to joining CU Boulder’s Disability Services, Ty was a Graduate Research Assistant with the Student Access Center at Kansas State University. His professional areas of interest include assistive technology, universal design, mental health, LGBTQA+ topics, and pharmaceutical policy reform. Outside the office, Ty is a professional photographer and videographer and enjoys traveling, hiking, writing, and meeting new people.
