Students with disabilities must meet the same admission requirements as other students. There is no special admission process. For information on admission requirements, visit the CU-Boulder main website.

Academic

All students must follow university policies and procedures and meet the graduation requirements of their particular college. Waivers, changes in course requirements, or grade changes based on disability are not available. All students are expected to follow the Student Conduct Code. For more information on university policies, see Policies.

Foreign Language and Mathematics

Some students with disabilities are concerned about meeting the foreign language or mathematics requirements. Regardless of a history of difficulty or evaluator recommendation, completion of these requirements is expected. There are several options for meeting foreign language requirements that you can discuss with your Access Coordinator. One option, the Modified Foreign Language Program, is available to qualifying students. The Center for Language and Learning determines student eligibility for this program. Likewise, there are various options for meeting mathematics requirements. Check with your Access Coordinator for suitable course offerings as well as tutoring options on campus.
