Are you a CU student interested in mentoring youth in the Boulder community? A new Eye to Eye chapter is coming to CU-Boulder, and Disability Services is looking for students to lead it!

Eye to Eye is a national mentoring program that pairs CU students with learning disabilities or ADHD with similarly labeled middle school students.  Starting in the fall, CU students will work with middle school students once a week on art projects that are designed to help the younger students learn about themselves and embrace their learning styles. More information about Eye to Eye can be found at www.eyetoeyenational.org.

We are seeking CU-Boulder students with learning disabilities or ADHD to lead the new Eye to Eye chapter. These Student Coordinators will be trained by Eye to Eye’s national team at an annual leadership conference, and will receive weekly support from Eye to Eye staff throughout the year. Student leaders are also linked to a network of passionate advocates across the country who are changing what it means to have a learning disability and/or ADHD. Keep in mind that students do not need to have an art background to get involved.

Individuals interested in applying for a Student Coordinator position should complete our application and submit it to marrisa.mora@colorado.edu by Wednesday, March 30th. Questions about Eye to Eye or the application process can also be directed to that email address, or to 303-492-1675.
