Topher developed a passion for water issues as a result of growing up an avid skier and river runner. He is currently developing a tool to asses the sustainability of varied treatment train technologies for small drinking water systems. This research will be implemented with other DeRISK decision making tools to improve the technology selection process for small water utilities. Upon completion of his MS, Topher plans to work as a consulting engineer in the water industry.
