The Office of the Senior Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at CU Boulder is part of the chancellor’s office and is charged with:

  • Supporting the chancellor’s diversity, equity and inclusion priorities to benefit the entire campus community
  • Advancing campuswide diversity, equity and inclusion goals and initiatives through partnerships with campus leaders, academic and administrative units, community members, alumni, donors and other CU Boulder stakeholders
  • Supporting campus efforts to recruit and retain students, staff and faculty with minoritized identities and their academic, research and professional success
  • Leading action planning in academic and administrative units to create and sustain a more inclusive campus for CU Boulder students, staff and faculty
  • Sponsoring and supporting the work of the IDEA Council, staff and faculty affinity groups and future campus culture surveys as part of a broader, data-informed approach to put diversity, equity and inclusion strategies into action
