Research Interests
I am primarily a forest soil scientist and biogeochemist, but my work has expanded to include limnology in both temperate and polar ecosystems. I am particularly interested in the interactions between climate, atmospheric deposition, and the cycling of C, N and P within soils and across the terrestrial-aquatic interface. Beyond research, I write about pressing conservation issues for popular press in hopes of raising awareness.
