NEON logoThe National Ecological Observatory Network (NEON) is a continental-scale ecological observation facility, sponsored by the National Science Foundation and operated by Battelle, that gathers and synthesizes data on the impacts of climate change, land use change and invasive species on natural resources and biodiversity

Neon is excited to announce that several aquatic related data products are now available for download. The water-related data products include chemical, physical, and biological parameters related to the ecology of lakes, wadeable streams, and large rivers located across the continent. Expect more sites and date ranges of data to become available over the next 4 months as construction concludes and operations begins. Additional data products are coming out every few weeks, check the data products catalog for data status of ones you’re interested in. There are also R packages available for general data organization and manipulation, gathering geospatial information, and calculating dissolved gas concentrations.
