The USGS NRP recently released the Water Energy and Biogeochemical Model (WEBMOD) that simulates water and solute fluxes through watersheds. More specifically,  the semi-distributed water-scale water-balance model simulates hydrologic and geochemical storages and fluxes on a daily time step. The model framework utilizes the USGS Modular Modeling System.

The WEBMOD manual describes input and output files, along with algorithms and procedures to simulate hydrology and water quality in the watershed. It was published and developed by USGS scientists Richard M.T. Webb and David L. Parkhurst.
