9th Annual Hydrologic Sciences Graduate ProgramApril 3rd and 4th, 2014
On April 3rd and 4th, the University of Colorado’s Hydrologic Sciences Graduate Program held its 9th Annual Symposium at the University Memorial Center.  Bringing together faculty and staff from across a diverse array of CU departments as well as invited speakers from off campus, the symposium focuses on discussing the latest findings in water-related research and management.  This year’s keynote speakers and addresses included:

  • Dr. Roger Bales, Sierra Nevada Research Institute, University of California Merced - Mountain Hydrology, Forest Management and Water Security in the Sierra Nevada
  • Dr. Bonnie Colby, University of Arizona -  “Drought-Proofing” Regional Water Supplies - How Effective Can We Be?
  • Dr. Stephen Osborn, California State Polytechnic University - Water Quality and Natural Gas Production: A Tale of Two Shales
