Since leaving CU's English program ABD, Michael has spent the last 20 years at the cutting edge of electronic entertainment. Starting with PC games, then AAA console and handheld, development first, then publishing, he led teams of programmers, artists, producers, and QA in making premium games. As free to play and games as a service changed the interactive landscape, he has been primarily focused on the mobile and emergent technology spaces. 
    
Michael is currently working at a games studio in Boulder, fulfilling a dream that started when he was a graduate student at CU.
