Jourdan McGinn is the director of policy and partnerships for Partners In Health Sierra Leone, helping to support the government in rebuilding the health system after the devastating West Africa Ebola outbreak which claimed thousands of lives. She oversees PIH’s government relations, data monitoring, analytics and research teams and leads business development to help prove it is possible to deliver high-quality health care in the hardest hit corners of the globe. 

Previously, she was the director of program design at One Acre Fund Kenya, a social enterprise working with small-holder farmers across rural Africa to transform their livelihoods. She oversaw OAF's operations, marketing, client acquisition, expansion and growth and loan portfolio design teams. She developed OAF’s first-ever bottom-of-the-pyramid marketing strategy and helped transition the organization to Kenya’s groundbreaking mobile-money platform, mPesa. 

Prior to that, McGinn supported and incubated emerging community-based human rights organizations and grassroots leaders from across Uganda to impact their communities and start long-term nonprofit organizations led by leaders within the communities served. 

McGinn has an MSc with distinction in public health for developing countries from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and graduated summa cum laude with a BA in communications from Seattle University.
