Chris Thomforde is a retired Lutheran pastor (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America). He has served as a parish pastor, a college chaplain and instructor of philosophy and religion, and a college president at Bethany College (Kansas), St. Olaf College (Minnesota) and Moravian College and Theological Seminary (Pennsylvania). In retirement in St. Paul, Minnesota, Thomforde has been an engaged volunteer in his neighborhood, as a board member of the Council on International Education and Exchange and as a co-chair of ecumenical dialogue and ministry between Moravians and Lutherans.
