Anashay Wright is a mother, wife, national award-winning educator, speaker, consultant, PTA president, and proud graduate of DeKalb County public schools. She has 20 years of experience partnering with leaders, policymakers, families, and communities to disrupt systemic inequities in education and beyond. In 2002, she co-founded The Lisa “Left-Eye” Lopes Foundation, which led local and international impact within diverse communities in Metro Atlanta and Honduras, Central America. She has designed innovative programs and led teams at national education nonprofits and community-based organizations including TNTP, The Black Teacher Collaborative, and Leading Educators.

In addition to her work within the K-12 education landscape, she has also served as an adjunct professor, education advisor to elected officials, founding board & advisory member for Build. Excel. Sustain. (BES) schools in Texas & Georgia, and executive coach and strategist. Anashay's work has resulted in national recognition from the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (founded by Dr. Martin L. King, Jr.), Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Good Day Atlanta, and numerous media outlets. To date, Anashay’s work has directly and indirectly impacted over 50,000 kids, 90 district schools and several charter, public and private schools in Texas, Georgia, North Carolina and several other cities.
