Adenife Modile is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Colorado at Boulder and a graduate researcher in the Population Center at the Institute of Behavioral Sciences (IBS). He is a graduate instructor in the Department of Sociology with a primary focus on social inequalities in health in the United States. His major research interests include population dynamics in sub-Saharan Africa, reproductive health including women’s fertility behaviors and childbearing decisions, as well as examining the sources and patterns of disparities in health outcomes by race, ethnicity, and social class background. As a policy fellow with the Population Reference Bureau (PRB), he is passionate about communicating and disseminating research to policy audiences in ways that encourage action.
