Arapaho 3owonooxowoo
Analysis 3owonooxowoo

bang (hair across the front of the head)
Translation The Bangs

Notes:jThe Arapaho once killed a man on the south side of the summit who had his hair cut straight across his forehead, which was unusual among Indians. Usually only girls wore their hair this way. Arapaho men once parted their hair on each side and left is standing upright over the forehead to make the wearer look fierce. They later adopted the style of braiding the hair in the middle of the back of the head. Women usually wore their hair loose, with paint on it. The man who was killed here was probably a member of an invading tribe such as the Pawnee.gsdfhgfsdghi}
