Tara Gee graduated from Loma Linda University in 2003 having earning both her B.S. and M.S. in Speech Language Pathology. She fled California to return to the Pacific Northwest until moving to Boulder in 2007. Tara practiced as an SLP for 15 years until moving in the research world as a clinical affairs manager for a medical device company. In 2015 she decided on furthering her education and completed Galvanize’s Full Stack Web-Development program. Tara then joined the startup community at Quick Left, a small local web-consultancy. They were acquired in the spring of 2016 by Cognizant Technology Solutions, a multinational tech corporation. Tara worked with Cognizant managing their enablement and digital education plans for North America until she joined CU in Fall of 2018.
What makes you excited to work for the program?
Having done more than one Post-Bacc program myself and made multiple career changes, I understand the struggles to balance real life and student life. I’m excited to work with students looking to make a career pivot and venturing in new direction.
What do you like to do outside of CU?
Beyond the work world, I am rock climber at heart and have been climbing for 15ish years. This is why I moved to Boulder. I also love racing cars, hiking in RMNP, reading and dancing.
