Lindsey joined the Department of Computer Science at CU in August 2018 as a Senior Undergraduate Academic Advisor. She earned her B.S. in Agriculture (Animal Science/Agricultural Communications & Journalism) from Kansas State University in December 2008, and her M.S. in Counseling and Student Development in December 2010, also from K-State. Her experience in higher education student services includes 2+ years as a graduate assistant with K-State's Student Services for Intercollegiate Athletics (2009-2011), 3 years as the Retention & Learning Skills Coordinator at Manhattan Christian College (2011-2014), and 4 years as an academic advisor in the College of Education at K-State (2014-2018). Lindsey's own undergraduate student experience was life-changing for her, so she is passionate about helping her students learn and succeed and have fun throughout their college years.
During college, Lindsey was involved with The Navigators and participated in NCAA Division I athletics as a member of the K-State women's equestrian team. Now, besides advising college students, she enjoys coffee shops (hot chocolate, please!), running and working out, playing with her Shetland Sheepdog, and watching baseball, football, and Marvel movies.
